Cork oak (Quercus suber)
If you'd like to see an impressive tree, go to Belair National Park and take the road up to Long Gully. Once you get past the tennis courts and playground, continue along the road until you see on the LH side a magnificent cork oak (Quercus suber). This is a very old tree, as the sign in front will tell you. It is old, huge, gnarled and impressive in every way. There is another of these trees further along on Saddle Hill Road. It is rather more affected by the ravages of age with some beautiful bracket fungi. Best to walk or go by bike as you'll find it easier to spot these and other interesting things.

Here are some more interesting blog sites to look at:
adelaideindex.com - an Adelaide Blog Directory. The thing I like best about this site is the photos
These little bloggers went to market - SMH article about corporate blogging. Includes handy list of 21 things to remember when writing a corporate blog
Blogging: the new journalism? - a sceptical view from a profession that's feeling the heat
k-logs and other enterprise blogging - corporate blogging: blogs as 'organisation memory' and as a bridge to corporate clients/contacts from an Australian internet research, analysis and strategies consultancy
Blogging and RSS - from e-Learning Centre
